Collection and processing of personal data

Our website can generally be used without the disclosure of personal data. Irrespective of further statutory obligations and/or permission norms, your personal details are only shared with third parties if required for contract implementation and/or to provide services you have requested or if required to protect justified interests of BACHMANN and there is no reason to assume that you have a legitimate interest in this data not being shared.

Data integrity

Please note that online data transfer is generally not secure. The possibility of transferred data falling into the hands of unauthorised parties and even being falsified cannot be ruled out. We would draw the user's attention to the fact that sending data over the Internet (for example sending an e-mail or submitting online forms) is not absolutely secure. It is not possible to guarantee that data is completely protected from third parties.

To make your visit to a smooth and pleasant experience, we use what are known as cookies; these are generally small text files which a web server – e.g. the web server – sends to the user's browser, enabling the user to be recognised (e.g. any settings made by the user are accessed again when the website is next visited so the user does not have to enter details again when switching between functions). Depending on the user's browser settings, the cookie file is saved on the user's hard disk or rejected. Google Analytics web analytics service

We want to continuously improve our online presence and make it even more attractive for you. However, we can only do this if we know what content you have looked for on our website. We therefore use Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"), on our websites. The information gathered by the cookie about your site usage is usually sent to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. However, if IP anonymisation has been activated on this site, in member states of the European Union and other countries which are signatories to the EEC agreement, your IP address will first be shortened by Google. In exceptional cases, the full IP address will be sent to and shortened on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the site operator to analyse your use of the site, compile reports on site activity, and provide other services relating to site and Internet usage. The IP address collected by Google Analytics will not be linked with any other data held by Google. You may disable cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser. Please note, however, that this may prevent you from making full use of the functions on this website. You may also prevent the site usage data collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being stored and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available through this link ( You can prevent Google Analytics from capturing your data by clicking on the following link.
